Interview with Zuzana Macurová - HR Manager, VÝVOJ Martin, a.s.

The MSM GROUP, under the auspices of the civic association named “MSM pre ľudí” (MSM for People), has provided over 70 organizations, associations, institutions and individuals with financial aid totalling more than 274 thousand EUR. The money was donated to medical facilities or children at elementary schools, and it also helped in the fields of sport and charity. The donations have made happier even disadvantaged people who use the collected money in particular for rehabilitation programs and treatment stays.

We stated in the previous issue of the magazine that the Trenčín Plant of MSM Martin, s. r. o. (Ltd.) certified successfully the process of fusion welding according to the STN EN ISO 3834-2. Before the end of 2018, we managed to extend the certification to include also the Banská Bystrica Plant. Since 21 December 2018, both the plants have been able to perform complete quality requirements for fusion welding of metal materials using the 111 and 135 processes.

Our company strives to bring innovation in many industries. Evidence is also the opening of the new MSM eMobility yesterday, where we started the production of charging stations as the first in Slovakia. The ceremonial opening of the operation took place also with the participation of important guests from the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic.

We scored again. Our company, the MSM GROUP, presented its products and achievements at the international trade fair for military technology – IndoDefence 2018, which was held in Jakarta, Indonesia, from 7 to 10 November 2018. TV Markíza informed directly from Jakarta that we managed to enter the Asian market not only as a supplier of a wide portfolio of products but also as an intermediary of business opportunities.

On 16 and 17 October 2018, the Retiree Reunion was held for the second time. Its purpose was not only to reunite former employees of the company ZVS who retired from their job, but also to revive memories of their work by visiting the workplaces where they spent many years. During the years they worked for our company, they contributed to its development and built many valuable friendships.
