This type of practice ammunition can be used in any of the 155 mm weapon systems in 39, 45 or 52 caliber. The 155 mm blank is designed to simulate the sound of a shot.
A special plug guarantees complete combustion of the dust filling during a fire. Ammunition is used in military tactical exercises, ceremonial salvos or in areas where projectile ammunition cannot be used.
The cost of training is reduced due to lower purchase and training operating expenses (a gun barrel wearing out, transportation and firing range costs, etc.) that is fraction compare to firing from life or practice ammunition.
