Non-profit association MSM GROUP ĽUĎOM: new equipment for the hospital in Snina

Helping where we live and work. That is the purpose of our civic association, which has been providing concrete assistance for more than eight years to the regions of Slovakia where our employees operate.

Helping where we live and work. That is the purpose of our civic association, which has been bringing concrete assistance for more than eight years to the regions of Slovakia where our employees operate. This time, we decided to focus on what is most valuable – the health of our people in Snina, where the ZVS holding plant is located.

Modern equipment for more precise diagnostics and better treatment

Thanks to a financial donation of €40,000, Snina Hospital can now benefit from new medical devices. The funds were used to purchase a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine with linear and convex probes, which is used in the surgical operating room. It assists doctors during a wide range of surgical procedures as well as in preoperative diagnostics. It was put into operation in October 2025, and after only a few weeks of use, it has already become an invaluable aid for both surgeons and patients.

The donated amount was also used to purchase a lymphatic drainage device for the department of physical medicine, balneology, and therapeutic rehabilitation. This device has been in operation since September 2025 and helps patients with rehabilitation, regeneration, and returning to everyday life.

Support in our regions

For us, Snina is more than just a place on the map. It is home to many of our employees, their families, friends, and neighbors. Supporting the hospital in this town is therefore seen as an investment in the health and quality of life of all of us. “I am proud that our association supported the hospital, which plays an important role in the life of our town. Thanks to this contribution, doctors will have better-quality equipment and patients will receive better care. We live, work, and raise our families in Snina. This is our way of giving something back to the town and the region, and it makes me very happy,” says Karol Kunec, Operations Manager at ZVS holding in Snina.

Karol Kunec handed over a symbolic cheque worth €40,000, which was received by MUDr. Andrej Kulan, Executive Director of Nemocnica Snina, s.r.o. “On behalf of the entire Snina Hospital, I sincerely thank you for this significant financial donation. Partnerships like this mean a great deal to us, as they allow us to continuously improve the level of healthcare provided to the residents of our region,” he said.

MSM GROUP ĽUĎOM: focused on health

Long-term support for healthcare and for groups with health disadvantages is one of the pillars of our social responsibility. The hospital in Ilava and Považská Bystrica, as well as the Adeli rehabilitation center in Piešťany, can now also rely on the assistance of our civic association. The purchased devices are distributed to various departments—from neonatal and surgical to rehabilitation. This allows patients to undergo examinations and therapies that meet high modern standards.

However, our financial contributions do not go only to hospitals and healthcare facilities, but also directly to households. Helping families with health disadvantages is a very sensitive yet extremely important area of our association’s work. Every quarter, we redistribute tens of thousands of euros to them. Behind each supported family is a personal story. The story of a mother who can afford special rehabilitation for her child, the story of a father who, thanks to financial support, is able to buy an aid that makes life easier for the whole family. These moments are the greatest confirmation that our association has a purpose.

MSM GROUP ĽUĎOM is not just the name of our association—it is the philosophy of the entire group. We want to be proof that a successful company can and must take responsibility for the people around it. Our help is systematic, long-term, and always concrete. We know that every euro we donate can mean hope, relief, or a new beginning. We will continue to stand by those who need it the most.
