Description:
Cartridge 30 mm x 173 MP-T/SD is developed for use with guns Bushmaster II/MK44 and Mauser MK 30-2. The cartridge complies with requirements of STANAG 4624 Ed.1 for 30 mm x 173 ammunition and other related documents.

The projectile has a low velocity drop during flight due to a low drag shape and ignites on target impact within ca 3000 m (ca 4.7 s time of flight). If the projectile does not hit the target within ca 4.7 s, the self-destruct device will detonate the projectile. The projectile delivers heavy fragments and incendiary effect inside the target on impact, while having the penetration effect as well. The projectile is painted yellow with black marking.
