The ranking compiled by Forbes evaluates companies that have a significant impact on the country’s economy – from revenues and profits to employment, taxes, and contributions to the state budget. Among the most important companies, ours are also included.
Our production plant VOP Nováky ranked 41st place, and the export company MSM Export placed 48th. Their inclusion in the ranking confirms the significant position of MSM GROUP within the Slovak economy. We are listed among the most important business players such as Volkswagen Slovakia, Slovnaft, Lidl, and Eset, which we see as both a great achievement and a responsibility.
The VOP Nováky plant has long been one of the most stable employers in the Upper Nitra region and ranks among the global leaders in its field. Its main portfolio includes the production, overhaul, modernization, and life cycle extension of ammunition calibers 57–155 mm, including rockets; storage and ecological disposal; as well as the production of training ammunition, mock-ups, and teaching materials. Thanks to a high degree of automation, robotization, and the use of the latest technologies, it belongs among the most modern workplaces in Europe.
MSM Export is our export company focused on international trade and the distribution of defence industry products, thereby contributing to the growth of Slovakia’s export performance.
However, MSM GROUP is not just about Slovak enterprises. We are part of the global holding company Czechoslovak Group, and together we connect local industry with the global market. A proof of this is our recent success in the USA – a contract for the construction of the most advanced ammunition filling facility in all of North America. In this way, we not only bring jobs and development to regions in Slovakia but also take part in projects that support economic growth and security in Europe and worldwide.
